Terms of Service

The Astro Nova ("the Platform," "we," "us") is an AI-powered astrology platform that provides the following services:

• AI-generated birth chart analysis across Vedic (Jyotish), Western (Tropical), and Chinese astrological systems.
• AI chat consultations, voice calls, and avatar sessions with our AI astrologer.
• Personalized daily, weekly, and monthly horoscopes based on your natal chart.
• Compatibility (Kundli) matching, numerology reports, and tarot readings.
• Vedic remedies including gemstone recommendations, mantra guidance, and ritual suggestions.
• A marketplace connecting users with verified human astrologers for premium consultations.
• An e-commerce shop for astrology-related products (gemstones, yantras, books).

The Platform is accessible via web browsers at theastronova.com and may be made available as a mobile application in the future.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform.
• You may register using Google OAuth or email/password credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including your birth details (date, time, and place of birth) which are required for accurate astrological computations.
• One person may maintain only one account. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts may be terminated without notice.
• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or attempt to exploit platform vulnerabilities.

• Pay-As-You-Go Model: The Astro Nova operates on a credit-based, pay-as-you-go pricing model. You purchase minute credits and consume them as you use AI services.
• Pricing: AI Chat costs ₹8/minute, Voice Call costs ₹20/minute, and Avatar Session costs ₹35/minute. All prices are inclusive of GST.
• Minimum Recharge: The minimum credit recharge amount is ₹50.
• Credit Policy: Purchased credits are non-refundable once consumed. Unused credits never expire and remain in your account indefinitely. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Free Tier: New users receive 5 free minutes of AI chat (one-time, non-recurring). Free credits are non-transferable and provided once per user. Abuse of the free tier (e.g., creating multiple accounts) may result in account termination.
• Payment Processing: Payments in India are processed via Razorpay. International payments are processed via Stripe. All prices are displayed in INR for Indian users and USD for international users.
• Refund Policy: Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Consumed credits are non-refundable. Technical failures may qualify for credit restoration.

• AI-generated readings are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Always consult qualified professionals for important life decisions.
• Astrological predictions are based on planetary positions and classical interpretive frameworks. They reflect possibilities and tendencies, not certainties.
• The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any astrological reading or prediction.
• Users should exercise their own judgment and not rely solely on astrological guidance for critical decisions related to health, finances, legal matters, or relationships.
• Human astrologer consultations available through our marketplace are provided by independent practitioners. The Astro Nova facilitates the connection but does not endorse or guarantee the advice given by individual astrologers.

• Our Content: The Platform, including its design, code, AI models, algorithms, branding (The Astro Nova name and logo), and all original content, is the intellectual property of The Astro Nova and is protected under Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
• Your Content: You retain ownership of personal data and content you submit (birth details, chat messages). By using the Platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process this data solely for providing astrological services.
• Data Retention: Upon account deletion, all personal data is erased within 30 days. Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law. AI consultation logs are anonymized after 24 months.
• Generated Content: AI-generated readings, charts, and reports are provided for your personal use. You may share your own readings but may not bulk-reproduce, resell, or commercially distribute AI-generated content without written permission.
• Restrictions: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models, scrape content, or use automated tools to access the Platform beyond its intended interface.

• The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Astro Nova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on astrological readings or guidance provided through the Platform.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Platform. Service may be subject to delays, interruptions, or errors beyond our control.

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
• Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
• Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. Contact us at support@theastronova.com with a detailed description of your concern.
• If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration administered under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), with the seat of arbitration in New Delhi.
