Permanently remove your account and personal data
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, without asking us and without paying anything. This page explains exactly how, what is erased, and the little that the law obliges us to keep.
You can delete your web account yourself, at any time, free of charge. It takes about a minute — and it takes effect immediately, with no way back. See step 3.
DELETE to confirm. If you signed up with an email and password, you will also be asked for that password.The Astro Nova mobile app signs you in separately from the website, so it keeps its own account. If you have used both, delete each one.
DELETE to confirm.Your account is marked for deletion immediately. An automated job then permanently erases the data — it runs once a day, at 02:00 UTC.
The two surfaces behave differently, and the difference matters, so we would rather spell it out than let you assume.
Because the website gives you no second chance, export anything you want to keep before you confirm.
We would rather tell you this plainly than let you discover it later. Indian law does not let us erase everything, and two categories survive account deletion:
We also keep anonymised, aggregated usage statistics. These carry no identifier and cannot be traced back to you.
Deletion is irreversible after the 30-day window, so export anything you want to keep before you start. You can download a copy of your data from Settings — the option is offered as part of the deletion flow itself, before the point of no return.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed by Google Play, because that billing relationship is between you and Google, not us. Cancel it yourself:
Credits bought on the website are governed by our refund policy.
If you have lost access to your account, email support@theastronova.com from the address you registered with, using the subject "Delete my account". We will verify it is you and complete the deletion.
If you are writing on behalf of someone who has died, please contact us — there is a separate process, and we will handle it with care.
The website and the Android app authenticate independently and store your data in separate systems. Deleting one does not delete the other. If you have used both, follow both steps 1 and 2 above. If you are unsure which you have, email us and we will check for you.
