Refund Policy

The Astro Nova operates on a pay-as-you-go model where users purchase credits to access AI chat, voice call, and avatar consultation services.

• Purchased credits are non-refundable once consumed (i.e., used for a chat, voice, or avatar session).
• Unused credits never expire and remain in your account indefinitely.
• Credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• If you experience a technical issue during a session that results in lost or unusable credits, we will restore the affected credits to your account within 24 hours of verification.

You may be eligible for a refund or credit restoration in the following circumstances:

• Technical Failures: If a session is interrupted or fails to load due to a platform-side technical error, you will receive a full credit restoration for the affected minutes.
• Duplicate Charges: If you are charged more than once for the same credit purchase, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full within 7 business days to your original payment method.
• Service Unavailability (24h+): If the platform experiences downtime exceeding 24 consecutive hours, affected users will receive a pro-rata credit restoration based on the duration of unavailability.

Please include the following details:

• Your registered email address
• Transaction ID or payment reference
• Date of purchase
• Description of the issue

Our support team will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and process eligible refunds within 5–7 business days. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, or card) used at the time of purchase.

Credit note (CGST s.34): Every refund of a GST-inclusive invoice is accompanied by a credit note issued under Section 34 of the CGST Act 2017. The credit note references the original invoice, shows the reversed base amount and GST breakdown, and is assigned its own monotonic serial number (format CN/ASTRO/YYMM/NNNNNNNN). Download the credit note from your account Billing page once the refund is processed.

The following are not eligible for refund or credit restoration:

• Credits already consumed in AI chat, voice call, or avatar sessions
• Free or promotional credits provided as part of onboarding, referral programs, or marketing campaigns
• Tarot pulls and readings that have already been delivered or viewed

If you are unsatisfied with the resolution of your refund request, you may escalate the matter by writing to grievance@theastronova.com with the subject line "Refund Escalation."

As a consumer in India, you also have the right to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District, State, or National) under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — or to file a complaint online via the e-Daakhil portal of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission — for resolution of any dispute arising from our services.

Grievance SLA: we acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and issue a ticket number; we aim to resolve within 15 days, per Rule 3(2)(a) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules 2021 and DPDPA s.13(3).
